XTEINK X3 Featured in Esquire's Guide to the Best Pocket-Sized E-Readers

Recognized as the Smallest E-Reader, the X3 brings an entirely new meaning to portable reading.

We're excited to share that the XTEINK X3 has been featured in Esquire's 2026 guide to The 4 Best E-Readers That Fit in Your Pocket, earning the distinction of The Smallest eReader.

Published on October 23, 2026, Esquire's guide explores compact e-readers designed for readers who want to enjoy their books on the go without carrying a full-sized device.

Among the featured products, the XTEINK X3 stood out for its remarkably small 3.7-inch display, magnetic smartphone attachment, and accessible price point—bringing a dedicated reading experience into a device small enough to fit almost anywhere.

The Smallest E-Reader, Designed to Go Everywhere

What if your e-reader could be as easy to carry as your smartphone?

That's the idea behind the XTEINK X3. With its ultra-compact 3.7-inch E Ink display, the X3 is designed to make reading more accessible throughout the day without adding bulk to your everyday essentials.

Its standout feature is the magnetic backing, which allows it to attach to the back of compatible smartphones. Instead of carrying two separate devices in different pockets or bags, you can keep your phone and e-reader together in one compact setup.

Despite its miniature dimensions, the X3 includes thoughtful features for everyday reading:

• Ultra-Compact 3.7-Inch E Ink Display: A remarkably small reading screen that makes the X3 one of the most portable dedicated e-readers.
• Magnetic Smartphone Attachment: Attach the device to compatible smartphones for a convenient two-in-one carrying experience.
• Physical Page-Turn Buttons: Dedicated front and side buttons offer tactile control when navigating through books.
• Lightweight and Pocket-Friendly: Easily slip the X3 into a pocket, small bag, or everyday carry setup.
• Accessible Price Point: Enjoy a dedicated pocket-sized reading device without the cost of a full-sized e-reader.

A Different Way to Carry Your Books

Most e-readers are designed around larger screens and traditional handheld reading experiences. The XTEINK X3 takes a different approach.

Its compact form factor makes it possible to carry a dedicated reading device alongside your smartphone, creating a simple alternative to spending every spare moment scrolling through social media.

Whether you're commuting, waiting in line, traveling, or taking a short break, the X3 makes it easier to pick up a book whenever you have a moment.

It's not about replacing every reading device. It's about making reading convenient enough to become part of your everyday routine.

Small Device, More Reading Opportunities

At XTEINK, we believe that great reading experiences don't always require bigger screens or more complicated devices.

The X3 reflects this philosophy through its minimalist design, magnetic functionality, and focus on portability. By rethinking the traditional e-reader form factor, it offers a fresh way for readers to bring their digital libraries wherever they go.

We're grateful to Esquire and writer Bryn Gelbart for recognizing the XTEINK X3 in its 2026 pocket-sized e-reader guide.

This recognition encourages us to keep exploring new possibilities in compact reading technology and making digital reading more accessible to everyone.
